I really don't understand Chris Wood. I thought he was quite good with us and he's had an absolutely fantastic season, but there's just something about him that still makes me think he's shit. £15-20m seems ludicrous, the buyer would have to be mental. Barnes is a much better player in my eyes.
Leander Dendoncker. 21 year old defensive midfielder for Anderlecht. Very highly rated and scored against United in the Europa. Can't imagine he'd be too expensive coming from the Belgian league. Get him in.
Indeed, he has 5 assists. 3 of which were in the 5-0 vs Norwich (he has his moments), and this was also the last/most recent time he assisted this season. So he's done nothing since October. At the risk of sounding a bit Withdean Wanderer, what exactly does he do?
Criticizing the selection of Skalak isn't scapegoating, it's a completely fair observation imo. He can't be blamed for the team's performance as a whole, but seriously, when was the last time he did ANYTHING of note? I can't remember the last time he even made a good pass. He's not even close to...
He hasn't really taken many but last year against QPR and then the one off the inside of the post in the playoffs vs Weds. He scored quite a few for Leicester and Liege too. Perfect Knockaert territory.
That first one had Knockaert written all over it. I was initially pleased when Skalak walked away as assumed this meant it was time for a Tony special, but then Dunk came in out of nowhere! He must've banged in a few beauties in training but surely from that position there's only one man who...
1. How is that in any way relevent?
2. It was in the 89th minute when we were 1-0 down. Not that we'd have deserved it, but who's to say we couldn't have got something out of that game?
You realise when you're citing Forest away as a reason for Knockaert not winning POTS and Stockdale winning instead, Stockdale literally gave them a goal with an utterly ridiculous mistake? Stockdale has been fantastic too but weird you'd use that game as an example considering.
