My comment was more generally about Morrisey rather than targeted particularly at this song. To your point, I'd say the lyrics here are more likely designed to appease and provide comfort than bait. It's ok to feel angry about losing your child in such a cruel and destructive way, entirely...
Not a fan but from an art perspective at least he is thought provoking.
I'm happy to be led down a path by music and lyrics, its a more constructive path than the overt provocation and baiting of for example Piers Morgan.
Similarly I have a 48v 1500w homebrew. I Iimit it to 18mph so never have any trouble. It does still struggle with the hills around here but means more time on the bike and less in the car. Also i built it before the restrictions so I think the legal position is arguable.
Has had a significant impact on music. This is going to sound really wanky i know but my pretty limited piano improvisation is very influenced by his style (and that of Benny Anderson) due to growing up in the 70s/80s.
You can here both in many 90s music.
Completely agree.
There is a massive missed opportunity for Labour here to give a alternative. The problem is that they won't say or offer up anything as it would promote division within their own party and allow the Conservatives to attack their credibility.
The media have fed a narrative...
It's not just this government, it's the past 3 Conservative governments. 12 years is a long time to tolerate a party who put the interests of themselves and their friends above the bulk of the UK public.
