[Albion] Carlos Baleba SINGS a 5-year deal

All of the main data on this kid is from less than 500 mins of senior football so I would take it with a pinch of salt. (Although no doubt our scouts will also be using his youth data) Also, metrics can be deceiving. Often the best defenders don’t have the best tackling stats as they cut out...

    [Albion] Caicedo vs Bissouma

That’s the difference between a fan and a manager. Those exciting players need the ball to do their magic. Without a solid spine you get nowhere. Leicester would have not even got top 6 the year they won the league without Kante

[Albion] Mohammed Kudus **Signed For West Ham 27/08**

Think praying is the right term. Deal seems dead in the water.

[Albion] Carlos Baleba SINGS a 5-year deal

Exactly the profile of player I was going we’d go for. I’d imagine we aren’t replacing Mosies in one player. More likely a few different options and tactical tweaks.

[Albion] Mercurial, majestic, magnificent Mitoma [20/10/23: New deal signed]

We’re confident of him signing a new long term deal according to Alex Crook (who is usually pretty good when it comes to Brighton))

Really surprised wee Billy isn’t starting

    [Albion] Tyler Adams

Think we’d need someone like him to plug the gap (plus a prospect). Got experience of the league and has a bit of bite about him. Not breaking the bank and he has resale value.

[Albion] Where is Moises going? (Chelsea - 14/08/2023)

Miguel Delaney saying Chelsea will look to offer players to get over price impasse. If only there was a player at Chelsea we wanted….

[Albion] De Zerbi: “Bigger clubs can buy our players but they can't buy our soul or spirit.”

Has there ever been a better man for a job than this guy?

    Any training kits thrown in??

[Albion] Who will be the Caicedo replacement ? if he goes

Fine against Luton. Will be torn apart by any team with a mobile midfield and a bit of aggression.

[Albion] Who will be the Caicedo replacement ? if he goes

Needs to be someone very good. No Caicedo (or Mac) means we will have more games like Newcastle away. Need some serious physicality to cover for how attacking we are or we will concede goals for fun (and score them). No Mac, Caicedo or Colwill. What could go wrong?

    [Albion] £115m

Obviously we can’t turn down that money but have a sense of sadness over whole situation. Unfortunately money doesn’t get you points and wins (which is why we all go to games). 2 good seasons and we get ripped apart by the vultures. I have faith in us replacing well but ultimately the...

[Sussex] The Stable Yard - New Member's Club in Worthing

Worthing’s decent for a pint or lunch. Food choices for dinner are standard fair (some decent chains and a few good Indians and Italians but nothing you’d not get anywhere else)

Best spot in Worthing currently (IMO, of course) is The Old Bike Store. Lovely place

[Albion] Where is Moises going? (Chelsea - 14/08/2023)

Got a feeling he will still be here. Don’t think Chelsea will get to the triple figure of millions and not a chance we budge (no matter tactics of player / agents / Chelsea). The equation hasn’t changed since day dot, no matter the rest of the noise (which only exists for clicks anyway)

[Sussex] The Stable Yard - New Member's Club in Worthing

Worthing drinking scene has improved significantly recently. The rest of the town centre (outside of Warwick street) is an absolute dive. Charity shops and pound shops. Putting the job centre on the high street was suicidal for that part of town

True or not position won’t change. Asking price or it doesn’t happen

    [Football] Women's World Cup

Think we’ve done well this tournament considering the players missing through injury. Drastically different from the Euro winning team
