I thought Van Hecke was outstanding. I'd had my doubts about him based on previous performances, but last night up against Haaland he was outstanding.

Yes we were poor with quite a few well below par performances. BUT players were not as bad as some of the ratings on here. A 1, a few 2s, some 3s? I don't think so. Even though we played poorly we could have won it if not for a couple of individual errors.

The rules should not permit any contact with the player taking the penalty except by the ref. The ball should be given to the ref who then gives it to the penalty taker.

I too was in favour of bringing on Steele for the penalty shootout. Fact is he has a good record at these things. Sanchez has a poor record at saving penalties. The truth is I fecking hate penalty shootouts and would have said the same thing if we had won. There must be a better alternative.

Agree with most of that but Veltman's throw in to a player with two or three Brentford players standing right next to him was stupid and led to their second goal, so down to 6 for him. And Welbeck deserves at least a 7. One of his best games for us.

It looked to me like a terrible throw from Veltman straight to an Albion player who had three Brentford players around him. Very poor decision making.

I have no desire to help people who do nothing to help themselves and there are far far too many of them. I have no desire to help families with five or six kids who then live off benefits.

New Zealand happier since they got rid of that hateful woman PM. I have no problem finding a dentist. I'm happy to pay to have my teeth looked after. And happier than paying even higher taxes so that I can contribute towards getting the teeth of the entire population fixed.

Some rather generous ratings for what was not a great performance. I think some folks have been more than generous just because we beat Palace. However Caceido was immense and Veltman, March and Steele had very good games. Mac Allister well below his best and Mitoma has had better games.
