All settled in and now having some food in the city centre before exploring a few of the heavy metal bars.
Popped my head into the AEK store that's near Syntagma/Monastiraki. For anyone interested in one, they'll have half and half matchday scarves in from tomorrow.
On the subject of German team anthems, I'm biased on this, but Union Berlin's "Eisern Union" by Nina Hagen is the one.
The build-up to it in the ground with an excerpt of "Rammstein" by Rammstein before Nina Hagen kicks in always gets the goosebumps flowing. This video ahead of the first Berlin...
Not sure of any official announcements, but the application is here on the Council's website: https://planning.adur-worthing.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=summary&keyVal=S0ACE0CBHM900
EDIT: hadn't spotted @dazzer6666 beating me to posting it!
Absolutely back the shout for the Vegan pasty. Phat Pasty Co. do the best food I've had at football that isn't provided by Pigets Pantry in my book. Am a meat eater, but will often opt for that Vegan option because it's that good. Really rate the Sausage rolls as well!
Completely...
Also Row 14.
Will also be joining you at the Olympiacos U19 game on the Wednesday @jackalbion. Got a reply from them yesterday confirming they've got my name down for a ticket.
True, though one or two get scheduled for the Saturday every so often, so hoping at least one of the Athens area teams falls on that evening. Not the end of the world if not knowing that Olympiacos U19 game is on the Weds.
As far as I can tell, the dates of games for each Matchday don't seem to...
Also on the EZY8181 that day. 8:10 flight?
Staying at the Athos Hotel near Syntama Square. Making a longer trip of it than most as flying back on Sunday 3rd on the 13:25 flight.
Hoping theres a Greek Super League Div 2 game happening on the Saturday to fit in around AEK day and general...
Add me to the Block 8 contingent. Absolutely made up.
As it's VIP, has anyone heard back from AEK Ticket email as to whether there's a dress code in that section? Will no doubt change some of the clothes I'd planned to pack if there are specific about shoes/trousers etc. Hoping just a shirt...
Had heard rumours that he was likely to be playing a show after one of our European games. Ticket bought, not going to miss the chance to catch him while out there!
There was the Brighton & Hove Independent that filled that that void for a while Printed once a week and used to be able to pick up the free paper edition at the station and at other outlets across the city (new edition went out every Thursday or Friday IIRC).
Was run by JPI Media (formerly...
If it was fans of any other team, I'd back you up on that. With the Steelers fans though, the "Terrible Towel" is their equivalent of us wearing an Albion scarf to a game.

Was Tier 4 and had committed to going out to Athens regardless of getting a ticket or not, so would absolutely be up for watching at a bar with other ticketless fans out there. Knowing how hard getting a ticket would be, was treating it more as a well earned holiday abroad being out there from...
Hoping there end up being some left for this in the first MyAlbion+ tier come Tuesday morning, but know that's optimistic. I committed financially to doing Athens a few days after the draw as my one trip, as didn't fancy Marseille and knew Ajax would be a bumrush for tickets. In hindsight was...
Entered a lift at St Mary's after watching a Southampton game in the director's box in 2009 and as I was waiting for the lift, the doors open and Alan Pardew is stood there waiting to exit it. I think I said "hi" to him rather than the more appropriate greeting of "prick", but 18 year-old me...
Been blown away by the debut record from Indonesian female rock/metal trio Voice of Baceprot. Incredible story of having to withstand the prejudice and hate from sections their very Muslim province for wanting to play music. For fans of System of a Down and Rage Against The Machine, with so many...
Looking at his social media, seems he's a Hove-based entrepreneur who's possibly been inspired by the Wrexham story to invest in Eastbourne, but whether he's had any links/love for the club before that, I'm not sure. Always hard to say how long the types who immediately pump the kind of money he...
