I've hauled my luggage and my sorry ass to Horley and have found a train. Queue a mile long at North Terminal for non existent taxis. Loads of weary travellers, half walking from Horley to Gatwick and half going the other direction. All good fun.
Just landed at the South Terminal. Not being allowed off yet but apparently being bussed to the North Terminal. I may ask them to bus me straight to Bournemouth for the match tomorrow.
Completely agree. The best case scenario is that he becomes again the player we all know he is and forces the standard of everyone else up. He isn't the first player to have a bit of a drop off and say a few silly things at 20 but he's ours so let's give him a break.
Wonderfully farcical VAR call in Sweden's game overnight ruling out a perfectly good goal (not that it mattered as they won 6-0). How on earth a team of officials got it so wrong is beyond me - not even tight.
Every so often, when I want to feel truly dispirited at the state of social media and humanity, I look at replies to posts from someone like Gary Linekar. Just look at the awful replies to this perfectly reasonable, compassionate tweet from just a few minutes ago. Most of these people are real...
I don't mind GOSBTS being where it is now but does anyone feel that the players coming out now feels soulless and dampens the atmosphere? Can't we ask Fatboy to write a stirring new singalong anthem for the boys to come out to?
The lack of geese at the Amex is frankly embarrassing. We all remember the days of wall to wall geese at the Goldstone - it's a symptom of all that's wrong in football that they are so rarely seen nowadays. Could be down to transport issues I suppose.
No. Just do what they did tonight. Once a drum arrives, the drummer wouldn't be able to resist the never ending dirge heard at every ground where there is one.
It's a bloody scandal that it appears (unless I've missed it) that there isn't a FH song. New manager, new country - doing an amazing job, come on let's make him feel wanted. And Goddamit someone start a Baleba song to I'm a believer.
It's funny though how all these people including JK and some on here who are suddenly so protective of women are ever so quick to mock anyone "weird" or different or with an unusual hair colour. It's almost as though protection of women is a great excuse to display prejudice and small...
I think this is the answer. It's a shame those in the middle of the North Stand who don't properly contribute to the singing won't move although I totally understand why they wouldn't want to lose long held seats but safe standing in the South could just entice some of our louder fans over there...
