Keeping lists of people you don't like is f***ing weird and disturbing.

Richard Tice said with a straight face in an interview the other day that Matlock NEARLY DIED of Pneumonia. They're such relentless pricks these lot aren't they?

[Football] Euros 2024 - Semi Final - Netherlands vs England

I think a lot of people are downplaying/misunderstanding Netherlands' role in the second half being much duller. They looked shit scared of us and did everything they could to kill the game as a spectacle, as it was suiting us far more than them. It will be interesting to see what Spain choose...

    [Politics] Labour Party meltdown incoming.......

I thought it would be better than the Tories. I'm surprised at how much better so far, but also I think that reflects on just how utterly dreadful those final few years under the Tories were.

[Politics] 2020 US election - Joe Biden vs Donald Trump

I have to admit, when he was first elected I had completely assumed - given his age - that the plan was he would be a one-term president and they were going to bring Harris through. Perhaps that was the original plan but she just hasn't done well enough for that to become the reality. Either...

[Politics] 2020 US election - Joe Biden vs Donald Trump

Understood. My point was it looking unlikely that he will be ALIVE in 4 years time, forget all the dementia stuff for a sec!

    [News] Nigel Farage and Reform

This is interesting, and does hint at how small time/overnight Reform might actually be; There does seem to have been a lot of candidates put up where there is basically no information about them online. Doesn't mean they aren't real, but does suggest it's all been done quite "on the fly" and...

[Politics] 2020 US election - Joe Biden vs Donald Trump

I have to disagree. The job is for a 4 year term, not for one week. It's essential that he is seen as capable of being able to do the job for the full term. "Ah it's alright, he'll probably last the next couple of months" - really?

[Politics] 2020 US election - Joe Biden vs Donald Trump

The biggest problem for me is you cannot look at Joe Biden and say with any certainty he will still be with us in 2-3-4 years time. As much as anything, for that reason he cannot be seen as fit to lead one of the most stressful and high pressure jobs in the World.

[Albion] Time for a where’s your Albion Mojo thread

Zero. England are in a major tournament semi final TOMORROW. Couldn't give a monkey's about Brighton right now. Ask me again at start of August and I'll be right up for it.

[Football] Have you ever been to an England football game?

No but it's bucket list to see us in a major tournament, preferably abroad. Otherwise definitely have an eye on getting to one of the Euro 28 games.

[Football] New Kits Thread - 24-25 Season

The fact it's not going to be the real kit almost makes me want to buy it more. The lost BHFC kit - decades from now if you saw someone wearing it it might feel like a fever dream - I don't remember that season?!

[Football] Frank Lampard - next England manager?!

Yep, the moment we beat Switzerland suddenly their performances against Germany and Italy are ignored/downplayed. It's tedious.

[Football] Frank Lampard - next England manager?!

He's tactically quite poor, but has been very good in all other aspects of the job IMO. Some people only focus on on-pitch in-game decisions (understandable to an extent, as that's the main thing we see) but I believe he has provided huge value in other areas, and the players recognise and...

[Football] Frank Lampard - next England manager?!

I disagree. International football is practically a separate sport to Club football, it's so different. I'd never want Southgate for Brighton and I don't think he'd make a good club manager, but overall he's done an excellent job with England over his tenure.

[Albion] Why do we keep announcing new signings in the middle of the night?

Just that question really. Doesn’t seem a coincidence now. Is it somehow to benefit foreign markets? I don’t get it. Love from a rapidly aging confused man.

[Football] EURO 2024 - Official Thread

I admire your level of support. Today is host to an absolutely incredible set of 2 quarter finals. So much narrative. Hosts Germany vs Probably Best Side So Far Spain Kylian MaskBappe vs Cristiano "Raging at the Dying of the Light" Ronaldo. Pure theatre.
