I don’t know why, but this is a MASSIVE bugbear of mine. Hear it in a fair few football podcasts. I think it annoys me because they only do it with Italian or Spanish players - you never hear them put on a Japanese accent for Kaoru Mitoma or African for Sadio Mane. :lol:
