Yeah, I did think that as it posted haha I wouldn't be against Cooper, but doesn't feel that inspiring. Great man manager though and great with the fans, too.
Good riddance. Think he is a bit of an arse, and as much as I sometimes agree with him, he clearly is too far left for the current centrist Labour Party. They are rightly making moves to get rid of those who may be a disruptive influence, just like those on the harder right of the Tory party...
Tbf, have just received a text from someone who said the same. That he is meeting the club tomorrow. Apparently the source got recent events right before.
Injuries? He wasn't blameless, no, but there were positive signs he was being a bit more pragmatic towards the end.
Also, I think you are blinding yourself to the bigger picture. Yes, form was awful, but we all know that many factors went against him.
May I add, as much as I understand their reasons, of course! But that doesn't mean I agree with it, because I still don't now, and this whole manager saga is why. We are never guaranteed our top targets. This could be a big f*** up.
Eeeerrrr it looks like we have, currently. Failing to back a manager who could take us even further, for the choice of sitting in the top 10 occasional Europe and now missing out on key management targets, that to me is a huge screw up. Unless of course we get Rydstrom and he was our first...
