Should be peak storm here now, 90+ mph gusts, have to say the squib may not be damp but it certainly isn't tinder dry. The only flying objects I've seen so far are some leaves, coming your way in an hour or two, I think your roofs are safe but you may need to pick the bin up later.
It says it's gusting at 80mph right now where I am, it doesn't seem anything out of the ordinary at the moment. 90mph predicted in an hour, will update then.
Not much to report from here so far, in fact the forecast on BBC is predicting 50-60mph gusts now, not quite the 80-100 yesterday. Still holding my hat for now.
Schools have been shut tomorrow down this way, more home schooling to look forward to. Hopefully the roads are clear of trampolines by Sat a.m. as we've got tickets for the match.
