Honestly, Enciso is the one. Decision making and his desire to go with his insane talent. He's our next 100mil player if we manage his contract situation.
Enciso behind Pedro with Mitoma and Adingra/March on the wings is as good as anything.
Just a DM and a right back short of a top 4...
Difficult for a player coming back mid season. I don't disagree and think it'll be difficult for him to stay if De Zerbi is still in charge, but expect them to make a decision after he has the majority of a full pre season with the team.
With Caicedo being sold possibly a year earlier than expected, maybe there won't be one this year. Plenty of wages being freed up with Fati's loan ending and Lallana possibly retiring. Plus lots of players on the fringes of the squad that would still go for good money. Cba to rename all those...
On the medical team and Olise for being in the squad. On Roy for bringing him on 3-0 down. His heart rules his head on that one
He should come on if Palace pull a goal back, which they did. More important to protect the player than an up hill struggle against us.
If Lallana does retire at the end of the season we could do worse than picking up Barkley to replace him. He's playing extremely well, strong, two footed, versatile across 6/8/10 and still quick enough. Obviously depends on what he brings outside of the pitch as well. Expect a few will be after...
Baleba is but not ready sadly. It's the risk we take and it'll bring success and frustration sometimes. Just have to remember where the model has brought us to so far and enjoy the ride.
I don't disagree at all but just stating the obvious re. what we currently have as CM options. If Baleba hits the ground running next season then we've done it again. If not, then it could be 18months/2 years of one step back when one or two more pragmatic signings could have kept us rolling a...
I don't think they are threadbare at all. We have lots of players at CM which is why Dahoud went today. I think there are just all very very similar. With the exception of a very inexperienced Baleba and a very ageing Milner.
We lack the the solidity and dynamism that Mac and Caicedo gave us. I...
