Nice choice.
I’m dry tonight heading over to Devizes for the weekend and staying at teetotler friends, although we are having a chilli!
Tomorrow night a different story, Wings of Angels Festival in Swindon, Grim Reaper tribute to Steve Grimmett who passed away 18 months ago, lots of loud...
A welcome point for Steyning against Wilf Zaha's Croydon Athletic on Saturday in a 1-1 draw, the equaliser courtesy of a stunning strike by Danny Howick, just scroll through to around 3:44 on the video below.
Indeed, I’m currently working on a project which will include several bespoke screens, whilst they are very good quality products, boy do they cost a lot. The fact they’re externally durable, and bright enough to see in sunny daylight, is what ramps up the cost.
Knowing how much those types of screens cost I hope the club will be recouping through advertising.
For the cost of those screens they could fit the north stand out for safe standing and probably have change.
I have a Hyundai Tucson Plug In Hybrid, probably the best car I’ve ever had. It means my commute to work is done pretty much 100% on electricity and on longer runs I can average 50+ MPG. Combined MPG is around 85. As a company car the BIK rate is a third of what it would be if it wasn’t Plug-In.
I have a BHA Dolphins pennant, it’s pretty horrible. Also a BHA Sergeant’s three stripes iron on patch, and a pair of 1991 stripey shorts. I have plenty of other guff too. And a few shirts.

Getting out is a lottery depending on what the...
But, but, but we’re unique don’t you know? Just because no-one else doesn’t (I’m sure some do) doesn’t mean we shouldn’t, after all, we always have done.
I went for a bottle of Jim Barry 2021 Eastern Ranges Shiraz from Clare Valley with dinner followed by a couple of Wantsum’s Imperium at the Five Bells and topped off with a large Bookers bourbon. All in all a pleasant way to spend a birthday evening.
Got an English sparkling wine tasting at...
Grounds that have retro fitted the rail as haven’t increased capacity. Old Trafford, Stamford Bridge and Wolves Come to mind, the seats are the same, just with bars fitted either to the existing frame of the seats, or just behind them like at Brentford.
