[Albion] Verbruggen out for up to 6 weeks

we have plenty of injuries - even last season - that are announced minor, result in 1-2-3 game absences and players return. (and last season we had plenty that weren't) . Nobody ever remembers the former for some reason and imagines the club - which for the most part reports on its injuries in...

[Albion] Verbruggen out for up to 6 weeks

Dunk and Caicedo had put in transfer requests !! you're looking for something that isn't there. A minor injury keeping him out for a couple of weeks is hardly a surprise and really isn't cover for ...well what ?

[Albion] Verbruggen out for up to 6 weeks

Well they weren't minor injuries then were they. We had plenty of injuries as well as the longer term ones - which fair enough were lengthy, excessive and season damaging - where players returned after a few weeks except nobody ever remembers them.

[Albion] Verbruggen out for up to 6 weeks

A couple of v.minor injuries in pre season is hardly a crisis is it. Its all a bit "Don't panic" "Don't panic" round here ha ha .

    [Albion] Japan pre season

they've started ! and a a few weeks off for Pedro and Verbruggen for a couple of minor injuries is NOT (yet at least) a CRISIS.

    [Albion] Japan pre season

if he has a rib problem then it depends on whether its bruised or broken so estimating recovery time will be largely guess work - but its likely weeks not months. Everton (A) is 4 weeks away. And i guess this was detected/happened (in training ? ) up to a week ago ...

    [Albion] Japan pre season

Ferguson is or rather was injured - its the ankle injury that ruled him out at the end of last season but he is now training again. So presumably not ok for Japan but a few weeks away from full training/getting back to match fit. (likewise Solly has also been doing light training for a couple...

    [Travel] F**K SOUTHERN FAIL. Help?!

For others who might be in a similar boat. I had this a few times when i used to park at Cooksbridge or Plumpton . Often late train service to these stations were cancelled or there were very big delays . I would always get to Haywards Heath - or Three Bridges at worst - where nearly always i...

[Albion] Albion kit 2024/25 - official thread

You have to buy it. Its £5 as per last year. And Its £15 for name/number on the back. The shirt sponsor was (i think) £5 last year but now its included "for free" although some would i guess prefer not to have it. (is it worse than the Snickers badge ? ). Prices are also the same as last year...

Jack Hinshelwood doing some good "acting surprised" bits in the various promo vids - filmed recently ? - given that he presumably posed for stuff like this ages ago. And when / how did Dunk do his bit ? Or is there some smart photoshoppery going on ?

    [Albion] Malick Yalcouye **Singed 12/07/2024**

Yes. We will likely sell 4-5 players (currently none) and loan out 15+ players (currently 3) and probably buy in several more. (Currently 5 but it’s normally 8-10 ). As well as extend a whole bunch of contracts. Thats pretty standard turnover for an Albion summer transfer window. Nothing...

[Football] 8pm (9pm local time) on a Sunday night is a RUBBISH time for a major European final to kick off

Euros and World Cup finals have been on Sundays since the 70s at least. And European finals have been at 8pm BST for decades. The Wembley final was 8pm Sunday. Might be ridiculous but we’ve probably never worried about it that much cos it’s never really been our concern.
