Sorry not meant for you @Hiheidi and I've said this elsewhere but it would be good if these twitter headline accounts linked to the source of their story - beyond just saying its via the Italian press. We'd like to read the actual story ourselves.
yes. It sounds like a signing that would really suit us and we need CB cover and more experience in the squad and he would probably work well with Hurzeler ( on basis they're German ! - ha ha) but where - aside from Schira - is there any reporting that we're interested .
Depends what you mean by the conveyor belt ?
Ferguson, Odel Offiah, O Mahony, Baker Boitey, Peupion, Duffus, Hinshelwood all had PL/Europe game time last season after starting initially in the u21s.
And then there is the goalkeepers - Beadle, Rushworth.
and some exciting prospects in our u18s...
This is the article about the loan agreement with Feyenoord. Sounds like they're just waiting for Buonanotte to decide what he wants to do. Clubs, wages, agreement all done...doesn't sound like Southampton interest that concrete...
The formation has been pretty much 4-2-3-1 in every game so far.
And Next week, as per normal , you’ll see pretty much the likely Everton line up starting at Villarreal .
True - He probably could have done with having Wieffer (from the start), Dunk, Barco, Pedro and Verbruggen available...
yes. because that was our first games in pre season - so players weren't up to playing > 45 mins. its pretty standard stuff for pre season. yesterday the first 11 played 60/65 mins. I'm sure v Villarreal it will be even more. Veltman/Steele yesterday played 90 ! Not sure what you're trying to...
Is it really that unusual. ?
We made 4 changes from the equivalent starting line up (Newcastle in the Summer Series) to Luton (H) last season.
Wouldn't be a surprise if we made about 4-5 changes this time max from QPR > Everton (A) . - ie: bringing in Dunk, Pedro, Verbruggen, Barco ? ...
Hurzeler has confirmed that Pedro is training and fit and that Dunk is back either tomorrow (day off ? ) or Tuesday. So presumably both in line for game time v Villarreal .
Yes.
4-2-3-1
Or close to this at least
Steele/Verbruggen
Veltman Dunk JPVH Barco
Baleba Wieffer (or Hinshelwood)
Minteh Welbeck Pedro Mitoma
Enciso/Ferguson /Milner / ACD /Lamptey/Adingra / Igor
involved depending on fitness.
