Schar straight red for the Barcodes. Running out of CBs…suspect they’ll be straight in again for Guehi therefore.

I have, mate, it’s gold. I go back to it occasionally…rather like watching a favourite episode of Peep Show or the Inbetweeners for when I want to indulge in puerile humour!

Interesting to wake up to this! Just popped over to WACCOE to check the pulse of the natives and,, unsurprisingly, they are gutted/angry in equal measure. Surprisingly though, there’s no anti Albion sentiment…was expecting a ”why them/tinyclub/teams like Brighton” attitude but none to date...

[Albion] Brajan Gruda **SINGED 14 Aug 2024**

I lament the passing of the hard T. There’s a story of a BBC senior manager called Tom who, in an affectatious manner (he was apparently very middle class) dropped his Ts. His behind-his-back nickname was Om.

Meanwhile, for the oppo, Branthwaite is apparently “injured”. Suspect he’s off. Either way, helps us he’s not playing.

True but a Teutonic touch line skirmish between Fabi and Glass Chin and it’ll be a fire re-lit.

All good points, Loz. As has been said on this forum many times, most Albion fans have a begrudging respect for him. He is clearly a good person. But obviously a sworn enemy on the park who will always attract our vitriol, especially when he dives and whinges. The other 8% of his game is decent...

So the SEGW is purportedly coming back on a season long loan from Turkey. I’ve read mixed views on this from Palace fans. Get him back, I say, back to Velters’s pocket…

Yes, Dougal, simple maths. What’s your point?

Actually it was reported (Guardian and other MSM) at the time that Chelsea did have a sell on clause as well as a buy back clause. And it’s also widely reported (Times and other MSM) that it’s 20%. So, simple maths, you paid £18m, you’ll sell for (say) £60. You’ll net £30m.

    [Football] Could Palace be Relegated?

You’re probably right, mate. But, in my own way, I’m trying to get him to face up to how he comes across and, ideally, undertake a Damascene conversion.

    [Football] Could Palace be Relegated?

I don’t reply to many of your posts (simple maths, Dougal, you’ve posted six times as many as I have) but I do call out your trolling posts because they’re pathetic and you only make them when you feel your lot are in the ascendancy. Which, as I’ve said before, makes you a coward. There are...
