I would imagine that many folk are working there. It's not the same as for us here. There was a fair crowd behind the camera too.
That said, Test cricket is not what it was. We have to accept that. But I'll be clinging on the boat until it goes down.
#TestIsBest
Have to disagree with the RtHon member there. He did indeed play a splendid innings but, over the long term, the value of those extra 10 runs an innings is far outweighed by missed chances, byes and, like the village attempt that was missed in the last Test, stumpings.
I did find it amusing to hear the music on the loud speaker..
'He drinks a whisky drink, he drinks a lager drink....'
I don't think he does somehow :ROFLMAO:
Just to hopefully put the wicket keeper thing to bed. Smith dropped a straight forward chance off Saud when he was on 26. He now has a big ton now. I don't think Foakes would have missed that.
Of course, I need an assistant. I'll show you the day a non 'big six' team wins the title. Although we have to go back for that as the dial can't find one in the future.
How can there be an apology for people who had no desire to do so while they were here ? History needs to start looking forward and not back. On a personal level I would refuse to apologise for something I have nothing to do with.
Sky, and perhaps even the BBC for that circus, would do well to get Urooj Mumtaz on their commentary teams. Especially for the womens game. Brain like livewire.
I would like to apologise for having a cousin 4,000 times removed who may or may not have been involved in awful things in a distant land.
How about we DO pay some sort of reparation, but we decide how it is spent (independently audited to show it is not being used to our advantage) ? We could...
That's true, although I remember Steve Smith not waiting for one against Woakes back in 2019 and just turning his back and walking. He was more plumb than the ripest plumb in plumb land.
He does seem to squat like a constipated scout who's taken another run to the bushes on a weekend hike to try and drop his load. Seems to rely on sheer strength of arm when pulling the ball.
So to the final Test of the series. After playing on the the equal flattest surface on the planet, so much so it took till about the seventh day to do anything, we now move on to the... other one.
Apparently the heaters have been on the pitch and even rumours of raking. One can't help but think...
Mine kept falling off. I haven't had it displayed at all in the last year. I would see wardens walking past, stopping, typing something into their terminal then moving on. I seemed to take perverse delight in causing them the extra work.
