It is astonishing to me that given the parlous state of the public finances the first people a Labour government want to hit are freezing pensioners and hungry kids.
It's performative gesture politics where making "tough choices" is seen some rite of passage for a macho style of government. It...
I've seen Brian Wilson twice, at Preston Park I thought he actually engaged with the audience pretty well but it was not a great night for his vocals. The band were so good, it was a great night anyway. I also saw him at Hammersmith Odeon, Brian was being led through every aspect of the show but...
You should be happy, really impressed with Baker yesterday, I've always liked him and am glad his career is back on track. I just wish Progressive Insurance would rehire him for their commercials!
Nothing like the first game of the season to dump a barrel of reality gatorade over your head. The Commanders once again proved the national pundits right by stinking out the Raymond James Stadium last night. The defense was awful, not just the secondary (which was expected) but also the...
When the series started some of these kids looked like lost causes and to be honest society would treat them like that so they would play down to expectations and behave accordingly. These are kids with a variety of problems but the show backed them with time, money, empathy and patience.

Unlocked is superb. The club's you tube content is excellent right now. The Japan Tour diary was excellent, the weekly training video, Fab Cam, all angle highlights and now Unlocked which goes beyond the simple match day coverage and gives an insight into all aspects of the club.
Just started rewatching from S1. The early series were great, one that sticks in my memory I believe was called Tempus Fugit set on a crashing plane. A classic UFO abduction story which I feel are the real heart of the show as that is what drives Mulder in his investigations.
Well I still bloody like it. It’s a brilliant city. The worst thing about it, is that is expensive. Property and pints cost a lot. When I head down to the beach on a hot day I pinch myself that I live here, it’s like being on holiday all the time. Pubs are good, loads of places to eat, thriving...
No it isn’t, but the league will be able to sell it as a tough punishment and City will certainly never stop whining about. It will be a load of performative nonsense.
This is what I expect to happen. A 100 point deduction which will only relegate City for a year. The league look tough, City get a glorified slap on the wrist but get to keep their titles and play the victim whilst not being to displeased at the outcome. Everybody wins.
I paid £165 for AC/DC this year which I think is the most I have spent on a single gig ticket.
I've travelled abroad for gigs and spent a lot on festivals but these are basically holidays so I would not include them.
I am assuming (and I accept that this maybe be a big if) given the tickets are digital they will have a unique identifier, number or QR code or something of that nature. If they are traceable they are cancellable. I do however stand to be corrected on this. You could offer regulated resale with...
