My Grandad was a navigator on Lancasters' in Bomber Command. He would've been a keen viewer of this show but sadly passed away aged 99 a couple of years ago.
If even half of the dramatisation of what's in this show were true, I'm pretty lucky to have even existed I guess.
Not in the last 16. Maybe in the quarters if we both get through.
Edit: apparently the above is wrong, so apologies.
There are a lot of articles online incorrectly stating the ‘same group’ rule though.
My first ever match was Barry’s first ever win.
Bazza did a good job in very difficult times. Happy birthday!
Hindsight is a wonderful thing, and sadly a lot of us rejoiced when he left by ‘mutual consent’ just a few weeks after Bellotti arrived in the autumn of 1993.
How blind we were…
I’ve just listed all my vinyl on discogs. I’ve only got about 400 combined, but was surprised at the ‘valuation’ range of my collection. Minimum I could expect was £1300 and max was £8300.
In reality I’d expect the lower figure to be closer, not that I’ll be selling any anyway.

One of the biggest fabrications ever played out on tv.
Literally every ‘scenario’ stated in the programme has since been countered as extremely unlikely.
Very good DJs are a rare breed IMO.
Many are sufficient at best and, given their career choice, their actual knowledge of music is often somewhat lacking.
Steve Wright knew his stuff, but he did have the flaw that really bugs me about many DJs: talking waaaay too much over the song.

Met him once when he was a celebrity guest of honour with Chris Ellison at a charity event my dad was DJing.
Also worked briefly with his daughter.
Strange that they are referencing OFAH so much though as he was only ever in one episode. Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy might’ve been more...
I still enjoy beating them more than any other club of any other size, so yes it’s absolutely more than just 3 points to me.
I don’t however understand the need for some to bring the violence with it. I’ll never understand the ‘need’ to seek out a punch up, or post a photo on X feeling...
Starting to think my 4 years old firestick (1st gen 4K) could be the reason why everything I watch on it is buffering every 2 minutes or do.
Has anyone else had this issue and found that upgrading helped at all?
Quite happy to listen to anything in the morning so long as it’s not that ar5e kissing sycophant and his lackeys on Virgin Radio.
He was good on Radio 2, but now he’s gone back to being the same unbearable, unlistenable tosspot that he was in the 90s.
