    [Albion] Hürzeler’s (Brighton) Tactics

Fabian has been playing Baleba in a more forward position. I think we need Baleba to be playing a more defensive midfield role to give us the ability to have someone to cover these breaks. He is clearly the player with the most speed and physical attributes to play this role.

I thought Rutter played quite well. Some nice movement, good control and some decent passes. Some really good phases of play. Mitoma was running them ragged early in the second half. Where we seemed to lack attacking wise was on our right. Not Adingra’s best game and then Minteh’s control let...

Agreed. Often the best pass is the simplest.

Doubt he’ll play again until after the next International break.

    [Albion] Drawing with Forest…

Am I the only one who thought Rutter looked ok today?

We did miss his pace when he went off but he was a misplaced tackle away from a red so the decision was probably right.

Hardly his fault. Was sent on to get onto the end of crosses and there weren’t many good ones coming in. JP injured at end and so it was pretty much 10v 10.

Yes, frustrating but not a bad point considering the fact that Forest are also unbeaten. We did have them on the rack for 15 minutes at the start of the second half and needed a third. Need some pace at the back to assist with the counter attacks.

It was the critical point of the game. Score and at 3-1 we’d have been fine. Forest are a good counter attacking team and gave us problems at times. We need to find a solution to these counter attacks.

Interesting second half coming up. They’ll need to push now and we’ve not looked secure at the back.

Really clever play by Hinshelwood for the Welbeck free kick as well. Jumping in front of the sight of the goalkeeper who then didn’t move. I’d like to Weiffer on for Baleba and we may be forced to replace Welbeck. Looked like groin strain.

Think Adingra deserved the start. Need Baleba’s pace to help the back four and Hinshelwood should give the midfield dynamism. Strong bench.

[Albion] "you've seen thee albion, now feck off home"

Hate the song. Man Utd fans sing it , which is enough to tell you that it shouldn’t be sang.

[Albion] how good are we, actually?

It is worth noting that our form for the last 15 games of last season was virtually relegation standard. So, we have seen improvement.

[Albion] how good are we, actually?

Yes, right from the start of the season I was disturbed by the lack of control we had compared to Potter and RDZ but I think this is all part of the way that Fabian wants to play. High pressing, quicker forward movement and responses from transitions. Would like to see more control at times...

    [Politics] Inheritance Tax

My view is that Defined Contribution pensions should be brought into the scope of IHT. At present wealthy individuals are deferring drawing on their pension funds to leave their pension assets outside of their estate to mitigate IHT. They got tax relief on contributions to build up these funds...
