To be clear, by the rules, if the linesman thinks its offside but lets the play continue so keeps his flag down.. is that being done just in case he's got it wrong? and so would have incorrectly stopped the game? or is there something more to it? If so and that's the reason behind what we saw...
Fair if so but Fab's part in that just seems to be missing from all the replays ive seen. MOTD & Sky for example shows Santo pointing and shouting directly at officials, but Fab is just standing there looking very confused.
True. I guess that's the source of MGW's anger. He thinks the ref is either saying ''he got the ball, so no foul'' or ''he got the ball, so its a foul, but no card'' but then see's a red card in his face. Either way its a complete cock up of how to handle things from the ref as its the clearest...
Just watched the MOTD replays. The clearest second yellow you will ever see. MGW is off the ground and goes through Pedro to get to the ball. Even if he does get a toe on the ball its irrelevant because of the force used which takes out the player, and stops an attack. Gibbs-White and Nuno are...
Yep im with you. Yesterday worked well, and felt more natural without the words on screen. With the words it becomes a bit like some forced karaoke. Yesterday felt more organic. The words on screen always felt so cringey. If you dont know the words and want to sing, then 2 minutes of research...
Thought it actually worked well today. Could hear people generally singing along near me, and then obviously louder at the chorus. Maybe just a bit of time learning the words for some & then everyone is happy.
The positive for me is that in our current state, with playing okay, we're getting results. When the injured players are back to 100%, when the newly signed players learnt the league, when O'Riley returns, when the squad in general have had more than a handful of games to learn the new managers...
Didn’t RDZ lose like 3 of his first 4? Maybe let’s just leave it a little further into the season. We have had major changes to the squad, and various others coming back from injury. It really isn’t the time for questioning our overall quality.
One club man he said. I expect he’ll stick that. His best years may be behind him, but he’s not suddenly rubbish, so I doubt we’d entertain offers. Still has plenty to offer for us. If United do want an experienced centre back I’d think they’d try to find a player with trophy winning or European...
I remember a game a few seasons back, maybe 18 months, against Newcastle where the opposition were marking Dunk when we were trying to play out from the back in order to force possession & passing onto Van Hecke because he looked pretty nervous & unsure what to do with the ball. They were happy...
is that accurate?
Based on reported fees we paid;
Wieffer £25m
Minteh £30-33m
Yalcouye £6m
Osman £16m (but that’s in last years account I would assume)
ACD free
Kadioglu £25-30m
Gruda £25m
O’Riley £25-30m
Rutter £40m
And then sold
Undav £25-30m
Gross £8-10m
Gilmour £10-15m
& a few youngsters...
Not every player is going to start games, we need a few that are happy to largely be bench players & then fill in where needed. He’ll do nicely in that role, & will be better player for it being amongst the first team for a full season.
