[Albion] Brighton fans meltdown: arrived (Was incoming)

I'm currently reading We Want Falmer as a little reminder that these are currently the good old days.

    [Albion] There goes Europe

At the start of the season we had all of our wide players, the long term absence of March and Mitoma in in particular have meant that we have become incapable of providing a threat in behind. Even Arsenal played the low block against us yesterday, with the same resulting lack of goals for us as...

    [Albion] Was it a penalty?

I'm really ambivalent about this one. I can see why it was given, but I also can't shake the feeling that if the same thing happened at the other end that the ref would have been instructed to visit the monitor...

[Albion] Brighton & Hove Albion vs Arsenal *** Official Match Thread ***

My view from the WSU there was clearly a change of direction towards the West Stand (the opposite direction of travel). Looked a clear penalty if the Arsenal player was collected before the ball, so I assumed Lamptey had clobbered Jesus first when the penalty stood.

Not quite, he said he'd be a dictator 'on day one', rather than 'from'. The question is how much damage could he do in that one day?

Everyone? As best I can tell that is a narrative almost entirely driven by Mr Trump himself. Please let us not forget that most of these trials, including the Florida documents case, came about because Grand Juries in those jurisdictions made recommendations that the defendant be charged...

Muller was set up? Or Trump? All I know is that the Muller investigation was commenced by the DoJ under President Trump, and concluded whilst he was still in office.

Populists prosper when a significant percentage of people think that they are being ignored or mispresented. I think @Zeberdi has quite well outlined a number of key issues that have brought us to the current global discontent where the choices made by the political minority have the appearance...

The Muller Inquiry? The one that concluded that Russia did interfere with the 2016 election, but while it couldn't provide sufficient evidence that Mr Trump directly colluded with Russia in that interference, it could not exonerate him of obstructing the Inquiry itself. Yes, that definitely...

    [Albion] Lewis Carl Dunk

I used to work in Treforest back in the '90s, and opinions among the locals on S4C were decidedly mixed - mainly because they couldn't understand the Welsh content. Though one of my colleagues was a part-time actress who appeared in Pobol Y Cwm.

    [Football] England vs Belgium

I'm not absolving Dunk of anything, his initial flap gave Lukaku the crossing opportunity. Tielemans should have been picked up though.

    [Football] England vs Belgium

Dunk will get blamed for that goal, however from a coaching point of view I'd be disappointed with the recovery runs from the forwards/midfield having lost possession that then allowed Tielemans an unchallenged run to the back post.

Yes, I thought that was a bit odd too, given the general tone of the piece. Though, I suppose you could argue that it handily illustrates the point he makes - viewing 'woke' as all bad is intelligent people believing stupid things.

I'm just going to drop this here, as I found it thought provoking, and also relevant in that I think we all need to be open to the possibility that we might be wrong:

I see Mr Trump has been given a ten day extension to pay a massively reduced bond of $175 million for the appeal on his fraud case (it was $464 million). Another example of how unfairly he is being treated.
