    [Politics] Ground Coffee

Bird & Wild shade-grown coffee is good and environmentally friendly. Not as cheap as some, but not too expensive either. Enjoy the coffee and the feeling of doing something good!

The Liverpool game is also on BT Sport - so maybe it's worth taking a month's subscription?

    [Albion] Alzate

Sign of a strong squad! For the next game Dunk, Trossard, Alzate and March will all have a good case for inclusion, but which four could make way? Gross has played well, Welbeck will surely stay in the team. Some interesting decisions for GP to make.

    [Albion] Just watched MOTD...

But we don't actually score goals from corners hit into the box, so maybe we're just trying something else. It might work eventually.

    [Albion] Potter in

Great thread. Opinion among fans seems as polarised as the US electorate, but I know which side I'm on. The football we are playing is the most enjoyable ever. (Sorry Kit and Sully, I loved you too.)

    [Food] Black pepper on strawberries?

When I was a boy I had hay fever quite badly and strawberries was one of many things I was allergic to. The doc said try them with pepper on and you'll be all right. It worked. Well, I still got hay fever but not from strawberries.

    [Albion] Connolly

I've heard from someone who knows him that he likes a drink. Not that that has stopped others being very good footballers.

    [Football] Your Last Live Matchday

I wonder if that was me - sorry. I had a bad cough and probably shouldn't have gone, but I was meeting my brother for one of our rare games together. I kept getting dirty looks on the train up and back as people must have thought I had covid (I didn't). Was a bit selfish of me, but I thoroughly...

[Football] Why sit back and defend a one nil lead?

Regardless of the OP's affiliation, I think he has a point. From the moment we took the lead we surrendered the initiative. Of course that is partly due to WBA upping their game, but it did look like a deliberate tactic by us. Whether that came from the manager or from the players' nervousness...

[Albion] When was your 1st Albion game ?

1958. Home to Bristol Rovers. 1-1 Both teams missed a pen. Ours hit the crossbar and theirs hit the roof of the stand. Got a sore bum sitting on the barrier.

My dad played for Rotherfield and Crowborough back in the fifties. We left Sussex before I started playing, so my cricket (I have been a lifelong player) has been played in Hampshire, Lincolnshire, Yorkshire, Lancashire, Gloucestershire and Cyprus - where I played against a touring Sussex...
