Great positioning from Steele all game to cut out their crosses.

Minteh actually forgot he had control of the football then. It was like a toddler kicking the ball in front of themselves and an adult taking it off their toes. Zero composure

Sami is a better finisher than Mitoma and Minteh. Sa is very shit in goal.

Great goal from Baleba and keeping that shot low. He's some player and will get even better. Do notice how he is amazing at the hard things (taking players on, incredible tackles, strength) but often chooses the wrong option. In between some incredible play in this game he just blindly passes...

    [Albion] Premier League 14-15/9/24

Barnes and Nkunku. They can both finish. Rutter and Mitoma x2 can't and their chances were easier. If we want to be up there with the big boys this season we've got to not belief the hype and score. Really disappointing results this weekend and our attacking players let us down yesterday.

[Albion] Brighton & Hove Albion vs Ipswich Town *** Official Match Thread ***

Rutter and Mitoma's misses were really really bad. They justify their wages and score, we win. Disappointed Ipswich grew into the game and we couldn't continue our intensity. Mitoma got taken on by the full back one more time than he took him on. 0-1. He was better in the second half though...

Can someone tell Welbeck to go near post for once.

Really liked the intensity of our game. Ipswich have matched it but they won't for 95 minutes. Need to make sure they don't score on the break. Rutter and Mitoma have to finish that. Mitoma extremely poor. Sami on unless he improves. Ayari has been great as has Baleba although Baleba doesn't...

Rutter did well V Ipswich last year. Great selection seeing as he is out V Wolves. Encisco and Adringra to start next game. Hope JP is back for Forest.

[Albion] Brighton & Hove Albion vs Ipswich Town *** Official Match Thread ***

This game last year and historically had a draw written all over it with the Albion. We’re going well, 3 results against stronger teams than Ipswich (Everton debatable) then we take our foot off the gas and it ends up in a draw. We play well first half, dominate create some changes but we miss...

[Football] Should we scrap the offside rule?

The rule should favour the attacking team more I think e.g. if any part/feet of the attacker is in line with a defender it's onside etc.

Everton will sack Dyche. And then appoint Dyche to save them from relegation.

[Albion] Player ratings vs Arsenal (away)

Bart - 7. Great save V Havertz Veltman - 9. Main reason we got the point and that impression of Trossard falling over was wonderful Hinsh - 6. Targeted the whole time and looked vulnerable early on. Mitoma helped coming back. He looks more comfortable at RB Dunk - 6. Great ball to make up for...

    [Albion] Arsenal goal - handball?

I think that does hit his hand/lower arm by the way the ball changes direction. Not deliberately. Don't know the latest rules in whether VAR should have intervened. All elementary if Dunk uses his body, keeps it simple and wins the header.

Thought Hurzelar might take out Welbz or JP and put another midfielder in their to help adding to the fact that we have no Weiffer. Today is going to be a biggish win for Arsenal or a cheeky draw I reckon with some great attacking play from us. Baleba playing 90 midweek (cramp at the end) when...

[Football] ***Summer ‘24 Transfer Window - Official Deadline Day Thread***

I don't think Gruda was bought to play CM (maybe a number 10) and was more of a winger. Hinshelwood has only played CM once as far as I'm aware and that was when we got battered away at Villa. Neither are up to Billy's level in there.

He started our last league game in Weiffer's absence. No Weiffer and we are only left with Baleba and Milner CM with Ayari as back up. I wish that was better given how much quality we've got in front of them.

[Albion] Napoli interested in Billy Gilmour **Sold 30/08/24**

It's f***ing bollocks unless we get someone else in. Disappointed.
