Nobody deserved that winner more than big Dan. The way he has come back from that nightmare of a first half against Wolves in January and gone from strength to strength demonstrating the quality and versatility he has is admirable.
Lots of highlights, but the best Withdean atmosphere was when FC United of Manchester came to town in November 2010. Their fans were singing in the pub and didn't stop all game - Elliott Bennett missed a pen at the end to earn them a replay (which we won 4-0).
My first Albion game was against Aldershot in the then Milk Cup at the Goldstone. Frank was coming to the end of his career (he was 36 and played on until 40 odd) but still had the skill. He scored a cracker in a 3-1 win (Terry Connor got the other 2). He was a great character and a joy to...
Lallana is the only survivor from Gus's first match in charge and that famous 3-1 win, he was in the Southampton side that night. I'm hoping he can work his magic today now he has got his first goal and fire us to a much-needed victory.
VERY confident we'll stay up. Newcastle are weakest out of bottom 3, although I hope Callum Wilson stays injured. Can't see Fulham getting anything at City tonight.
Form has definitely dipped but on his day he can be explosive. Hopefully Potter and Co can get his head in a good place for the next batch of games, all of which are vital.
If we continue playing as we are, i'll vote in every time (even if we're relegated). The goal issue is becoming a farce but it's far more worrying if a team isn't creating chances.
