    [Albion] Pascal Groß

Groß has always been top quality, played in the correct system he is a key part of our squad and proved it yet again yesterday. I'd love him to stay for at least another 2 seasons, he's never been quick but his footballing brain is first class. The stats don't lie.

    [Albion] Player of the season?

    Cucurella

    [Football] Bissouma

So pleased to see Biss back to his very best yesterday, i hope against all odds we can get him to sign a new contract.

    [Albion] Forget about it.

I've been lucky enough to be at the last 2 wins, away at Watford and Arsenal where there was a great atmopshere in the Albion end. After yesterday's top performance, i really hope we can now transfer that to the Amex where the atmosphere does not always help the players, so perhaps they can...

    [Albion] Deniz Undav

Looks like a very exciting signing and if it was anyone else selling, the price would probably have been at least 3x higher.

[Albion] Dan Burn to Saudi FC

Sad to see him go, but a good deal for him and a good deal for us. Newcastle are getting a quality player, Graham Potter has improved him out of all recognition.

    [Albion] Davy Propper

What a waste of talent...... but if his heart isn't in it. I hope his future endeavours bring him more happiness.

[Albion] Marc Cucurella *Signed For Chelsea 05/08/2022*

Brilliant game and an absolutely awesome second half - covered every blade of grass, appeared everywhere at both ends and a pinpoint cross for the goal - what a player!

[Albion] Giving Wednesday evening a miss

I will go if it's on. Looks like we'll see some of the fringe players, so will make it interesting and better than watching on TV.

[Albion] What happened to 52 players that Gus Poyet signed.

That brought back some memories! Apart from Barnes and Wood, not too many went to to do any better than the Albion. A few old Withdean faves on that list though. Bruno, Barnes and Vicente surely his best signings.

[Albion] Liverpool vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

I think we'll push Liverpool hard. Potter will have instilled belief in the players and done his homework. I don't think we'll get beaten by a big score if we can keep concentration.

    [Albion] Radostin Kishishev

Top quality player, shame he was at the end of his career during his time with us.

[Albion] Marc Cucurella *Signed For Chelsea 05/08/2022*

Absolute quality and worked his socks off, a great signing.

    [TV] Boycie RIP

Sad news, played the part so well.

[Other Sport] Emma in the final - official thread

I honestly don't think she even thought about winning until she had actually won! What a talent, she's set to make many millions and hopefully be at the top of the game for many years to come.
  16. BUTTERBALL

    [Albion] Odsonne Édouard

Edouard can join that list of Albion greats like Kanchelskis, Van Dijk and Dan James.
  17. BUTTERBALL

    [Football] Ronaldo to Man City?

Will probably recoup that in worldwide shirt sales within a week.
  18. BUTTERBALL

    [Football] Arsenal’s Ben White

Ben White looked like he'd been playing for England for years today. I'm not sure he misplaced a single pass. Hopefully he has done enought to get that final place in the squad.

taking the knee - what are your thoughts

It made a very valid global point in the beginning but little has changed in terms of what it has achieved for football reform. Actions speak far louder than gestures. It's run its course.
