Depends on the player. Callum Wilson is on a reported £47K per week. Or half an Adam Lallana if you trust the reported figures: https://www.spotrac.com/epl/brighton-hove-albion/payroll/. Joelinton (a 40M striker) is on a reported £86K a week! I fail to believe there isn’t a striker out there...
A good example of how complex the situation is with many factors at play. Joelinton underperformed for 2 managers and looked overvalued. Took a game for Newcastle under Howe where Newcastle went down to 10 men, Howe shuffled and put Joelinton in midfield, and he hasn’t looked back since. Helped...
Strikers certainly don’t grow on trees, and finding one ‘ready’ is often expensive. The frustrating thing is the current approach isn’t cheap either. Brighton are trying to pluck a cheap striker who’ll grow into a quality striker at PL level. Trying to almost get lucky with a purchase that’ll...
I’m not an expert but I’m aware of how easy it is to use the same legitimate ticket on multiple devices owned by the same person. For example, one may own their current IPhone 13 but have older devices sitting in a draw. Same Apple ID etc. Can load the same ticket on each device that all...
They sure did.
So that’s 7.5 needed to be given out per minute for a 2 hour window for 900 tickets. So they should be opening as early as they can, and I’m sure they will.
Those who don’t yet have their tickets are more likely to go seeking for information. Likewise, they’re also more likely to interact with said posts and their devices will push related content. I highly doubt 50% of all Brighton fans will be queuing for a duplicate ticket tonight.
Think the general advice is call Brighton supporter services on Tuesday if your tickets don’t arrive by then. You’ll get the privilege of joining the collections queue on the day for a duplicate ticket.
Yeah looks it. You can click on more info now and it’s showing 2924 seats available. That’s the whole south stand minus the seats reserved for comps.
If Brighton sell fast and Charlton don’t, I guess there’s a possibility we could get more? I expect a lot of ‘new’ Charlton fans popping up for...
Is it? Their ground holds 27K! The opening fixture at the Valley this season saw 17K in. They do well to get over half the seats occupied at home these days!
Don’t think away tickets will ever be only digital. A lot of completely and carer tickets need to remain paper.
I like Everton having a half & half option though. Definitely the future!
Ridiculous really. But only 5 of the 8 games have a confirmed time so at least we’re not the only fans left in the dark.
I don’t understand how a date announcing details can not be be published by now. I assume Charlton and Brighton have a vague idea when a decision will be made.
