Seeing a lot of comments like this regarding March.
He has 3 goals from 6 games and is just returning to full fitness following an injury. Just 453 mins of football so far this season.
Harsh crowd. Still in my strongest team assuming we can pick from everyone being fully fit.
Excellent win to round off the season. A young team on the up. In contrast Glous are an older team on the way down, who threw away a good chance to get a first CC win of the season.
New contract for Robinson confirmed today too. Considering England pay him a yearly salary on a central contract...
Talk of the pitch being tricky to bat on. Only mown this morning after days being under cover from rain.
Anyway, here comes Derbyshire to stack the runs up.
This self imposed stock throttling to make these ‘limited’ is ridiculous tbh. Everyone who wants one should be able to get one. No idea why they’re online exclusive too (I think). Won’t purchase online again after receiving 2 damaged shirts + expensive shipping cost.
Anyone got an idea what the umpiring issue was? I didn’t notice anything from the stand .
Undakat was brilliant though. He just kept going and was clearly up for it, unlike other overseas we’ve had.
All seats at the AMEX have a decent view and facilities. Doesn’t matter where away fans are, it’ll always be a ‘nice’ experience for them.
I don’t see how moving them slightly to the left or right will make a difference. SW corner alone doesn’t hold 3K, so away fans will always occupy some of...
Should be thanking Burn. Decent for us, and had an absolute stinker for Newcastle yesterday. Couldn’t cope with Ferguson at all in his supposedly preferred position. Lucky to stay on the pitch, both from cards and not being hooked off by Howe.
Van Hecke is looking better and better the more he plays. Webster is going backwards in comparison.
It’s a tough call to make but I’m edging towards Van Hecke now being first choice. Does mean Dunk playing left sided CB, but that might help him get into the England starting 11!
Both central midfielders though. MacAllister was excellent as part of a double pivot. The impressive aspect of Gilmour yesterday was his ability to play as a single pivot, with Gross and Pedro playing close by, but in more advanced positions.
Different skills and capabilities of the players...
Wow. I never saw a single game of MacAllsiter at the level Gilmour played today.
Van Hecke and Ferguson simply have to start ahead of Welbeck and Webster. They were sensational!
Pope, Burn, White, JWP, Sterling, March, Bowen & Watkins will all be scratching their heads.
It’s depressing seeing the selected midfield options, and the lack of competition they have outside of the squad.
Pathetic performance again today.
Released T20 captain Bopara has just picked up his 4th wicket in the hundred malarkey. Went for a very economical 21.
His last ball was bowled to the unretained David Weise. The amount of quality former Sussex players is quite shocking. I understand the...
Cricket certainly doesn’t help itself. Can’t start in light rain but can keep playing in light rain for example.
But in todays case there’s no chance the pitch would’ve been fit for play at 11. The groundsman obviously can’t start the clearing process until the rain has stopped, to even get to...
