Bennets lived in big house in Falmer, Big houses usually had a few acres for horse or perhaps an Orchard. Latterly land was rented to local Farmer who grew arable crops up until Amex built. All the land above field and above Amex belongs to Brighton Council and is farmed by their tenants
My thoughts also.............Whilst development permission adds massively to Bennetts negotiating strength......The land is still only worth what a mediocre prem footballer is worth.

Should be so....Although the last time we played. Fulham beat us at Amex, the struggling to get out of the bottom three, Everton thrashed us at the Amex 5-1 and Forest beat us 3-1 away !!!
