Still not getting it. You’re putting a 9 syllable sentence into a 12 syllable one. You’ll need to provide audio, or alternative start singing it at Wolves game.
There are loads of videos of audiologists removing massive earwax plugs on YouTube. Once you start watching one it really is compelling and you need to see the plug being fully removed.
There’s these two Welsh blokes who are particularly enthusiastic about their work and give football pundit...
Correct. I it were to intevene and cross check on every single on-field decision, the game would become unwatchable. The line has to be drawn somewhere in terms of signficicance of the decision, and I think that goals, penalties and red cards is about right. Despite the usual excitement in...
So on the basis that it prevented a small risk on injury in that 5 seconds of play, would you be happy if an attack that put an Albion player through 1-on-1 with the keeper was immediately flagged offside by the on-field official without letting it play out, only to see on the replay a few...
We’re talking 5-10s of play out of over 5000s. Players can get injured whenever they walk on the pitch or training ground at any stage of the game or just warming up.
When applied correctly, the protocol prevents attacks being incorrectly stopped for non-offsides. This is definitely a good...
That’s just the Lino getting it wrong. He’s obviously judged these occasions as not offside in real time. If he thought they were offside he’d have raised a flag once attack had broken down.
You can’t have VAR on every single decision in a game. If a decision doesn’t lead directly to a goal then go with the on-field decision without interrupting the game. The linos tend to get the tight calls right more often than not.
They occasionally get it wrong, but what you don’t get is them...
The lino will still put his flag up if an attack results in a corner; he just waits until the shot has been taken in case there’s a goal, in which case the offside is confirmed by VAR. I think they’ve got this right to be honest.
I don’t get the argument about players getting injured if the...
This is your opinion. Unfortunately, it’s not cutting though. The debate certainoy tipped the balance towards Harris, but that was weeks ago. I remain convinced that unless Harris lands some significant blows in the next 4 weeks, or Trump fucks up, enough floating voters will drift back to...
Are you sure about that? I distinctly remember Hemed’s winning header spinning over the line in front of the North Stand after the keeper had blocked it.
Charlton had been reduced to 10 men by then though, so that’s something in common with the City 3-2 that we’ve bettered on Sunday - ie did...
He started so well and his loan created a real buzz but never really pressed on, did he? Sadly, his period with us seemed to be the pinnacle of his subsequent journeyman career. According to stats he scored 5 goals in 25 appearances in 15-16. Can't say I recall more than 2; although I do...
Enjoy yourself and gloat. They managed to finish a measly point in front of us last season despite us having a European campaign and a manager that lost interest from mid Feb. It hardly gave them bragging rights.
This is a fair point. Based on current positions however, we have played 5 top-half teams and 2 bottom-half. Palace have played 5 bottom-half and 2 top-half.
Both have played 4 home and 3 away.
