[Travel] Seaford to Lewes trains replaced by buses for Ipswich game

There is a few downsides to lengthening it from an day to day operational perspective, in that platform 5 would only be accessible from the Brighton direction if extended to 8, to keep access from Eastbourne direction with an 8 car platform would need a major remodelling of Lewes junction, which...

[Travel] Seaford to Lewes trains replaced by buses for Ipswich game

Its 6 an hour, 2 trains an hour are reversing in Lewes platform 4, two an hour will reverse in platform 5 (ex-seafords), two an hour will be the usual Eastbourne/Ore, at least that is what is planned for tomorrow.

    [Albion] Squad Numbers

Not after the season has started in my view, but it appears football manager has lied to me. Of course change it season by season, but changing numbers mid-season, WOKE NONSENSE, if you ask me.

[Music] Frankie Valli, Brian Wilson, legends and other “museum acts”

Saw Kim Gordon at Glastonbury this year, an amazing performance from one the key components of my favourite all time artists (Sonic Youth), modern music, performed impeccably and across the whole weekend, probably the most interesting, modern, experimental and new sounding music I heard from any...

[Football] The Non-League Football Thread- 2024/25 Edition

Went to Torquay v Welling on Saturday and witnessed this goal get called offside, figure that one out? Torquay lost 2-0 to two late goals, but I think if this went in they would have won, poor refereeing. Also made the trip down to Littlehampton on Sunday to Witness another one of their...

    [Albion] Newcastle Away?

May get cheaper if you get a Sunderland to Finsbury Park ticket? LNER new ticket policy has led to these ridiculous prices, with no off peak fare cap, it'll just go up.

[Football] Crawley withdraw from Sussex Senior Cup

Do find it quite funny they walk around with a champions of Sussex flag, but for the second time in three years have pulled out of the Sussex Senior Cup and the only other time lost 6-2 to Worthing.

[Brighton] Is Brighton & Hove as a city getting better, or getting worse?

People will always moan about it getting worse, but I don't think there's a city I'd rather live in, in the UK as a young person atm. Just Pre Lockdown was the peak but I think everywhere is getting worse post lockdown. I wouldn't move anywhere else, now if they can sort out the rental and house...
