Well deserved 1-0 win for the Rooks in what we can all agree is the biggest European fixture of the week. The overall quality was pretty poor, but the 1100 crowd was bang up for it; proper party vibes on the Philccox. Balti pie was brilliant as well.
Last week the ticket machine at PLD was kyboshed for taking payments so I buzzed through the barrier and got my Carshalton return on the train. Conductor got me a fare around £10 cheaper than what was being shown to me by the robot on the side of the platform. Keep em open.
That was the first match where I've thought that having MaCallister back would have made a difference. Obvs not in terms of scoring goals, but in retaining possession and moving the ball around properly.

Stopped behind for a pint then cycled back to Portslade, back at 11pm.

I went along. Some ridiculous backs to the wall defending at the death and Rooks will have been absolutely delighted with the point.
Also, The Hope (a few mins walk from the ground) is a wonderful, wonderful pub - would highly recommend visiting.
Anyone here considering Beveren v Rooks on December 12th? Two days before the visit of Marseille, yet I'm seriously considering a jaunt to make some new East Flanders friends, plus gorge myself on moules frites and lashings of La Chouffe.
