That price is not the correct one to look at. Gross was woefully underpriced when we got him.

IF we get a price for him that allows us to replace him, yes he can go with our best wishes. That is a deal that is best for both.

The piece you are missing there is that the club won't stand in they way IF it's right for the player AND the club. Losing Gross for a bargain price because we are being nice to him is not that is it. Come on.

I absolutely do not get this. Why would we out ourselves in a weaker position to potentially loose a critical player? Why do we not need to be in a strong position?

I have not seen a suitable replacement bid on or am I missing something. Again, I would be amazed it Dortmund could afford a player that is so important and one of the top creators in the EPL.

Why would the club give permission first? It does not benefit them to do that. It would have us in a stronger position to make them bid first.

It would depend on the tactics. Having two holding players that don't create much is fine if it is balanced by the fullbacks/wide players and other midfielders.
