So we've got medals in all the relays so far....maybe an outside chance of another with local girl Amber Anning on the last leg.
After that it's Taekwondo time.
It's almost time for Brighton and Hove's Amber Anning.
Can she run another PB and get among the medals?
Edit - no medal, but a great effort nevertheless.
New British record comes to Brighton and Hove. :)
Matt Hudson-Smith...so close!
Silver medal. 🥈
Storming finish by Quincy Hall though to come through and nick it.
Hudson-Smith lowers his own European record. Couldn't really have given much more than he did.
Less than 2 hours to go until Matt Hudson-Smith in the 400m.
If he triumphs, he'll be the first GB winner in 100 years since Eric Liddell of Chariots of Fire fame.
Much better 2nd round from Richardson. Ahead with the judges then. And a decent 3rd as well.
Lost the split decision. Hmmm....not sure whether I'd agree with that.
But with 5 of the 6 boxers gone after their first fight, Richardson's bronze was much needed. 🥉
Josh Kerr
"I can't walk away from a Championship disappointed. I said what my goals were, it was pretty obvious but I put a performance out there today which I was extremely proud of. I focused on my controllables, I ran the best and the fastest tactical 1500m I have ever done in my life."...
He couldn't let him go and had to stay within striking distance, which he did. Job done there - his tactical race was fine.
Kerr was always likely to have to go round the outside to get past, but probably wasn't expecting Inge to both drop so quickly and move off the kerb.
