Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery?
They want to build a new stand that looks like the Amex.
Want to play progressive football.
Signing young players with potential to develop and sell
Signing young south American players
Signing a Japanese player.
Hopefully their worst fear isn't...
I think it's probably because Trossard, Cucurella and caicedo were key players for the team. Losing them was a big deal and at the time weakened the squad/team. Them sulking their way out also had a potential negative effect on the team/squad in the short term. In the case of Sanchez, as has...
I think it depends who is injured. If it's maguire, I agree, I think it'll be guehi. If it's stones then dunks in with a chance(if selected). I think Southgate sees dunk as a right sided centre half.
I reckon if everyone is fit Southgate's first choice team is:
Pickford
Walker, Stones, Maguire, Shaw
Rice, Gallagher
Saka Bellingham Foden
Kane
Of that line up the only question mark is over Gallagher(assuming all are fit and healthy), the others are set in stone IMO.
This is my fear too.
I'd be happy with the compromise of him being in the squad and playing the third group game and maybe making one or two sub appearances. I feel like this is his last/only opportunity to go to a major international tournament with England so it would be amazing for him to...
I like this thread.
It predicts exactly what and where we do and will go wrong. So armed with this knowledge and foresight you'd imagine that it will temper expectations but I'm confident that the majority of people on this thread will all pile in when/if we get knocked out, acting like it's...
This runs counter to everything shown and said about the current England set up by the current players, ex players and media. What you're describing is what it appeared to be in the naughties and early 10's.
If we sell him that would mean A.C Milan's central defence would be ex Albion - Igor and Tomori. Blimey.
For those of us who grew up with the classic A.C Milan team of the early 90's it's mind blowing to think that we'll be providing the successors(yes, I know there've been a few players in...
Doesn't the premier league make up about half of the 20 richest clubs in world football? Which means they have a bigger budget than all but the biggest European clubs? So it's probably not a lack of money that is holding back English clubs in European competition.
Also seems like Palace...
Without wishing to get into a dick swinging contest, if we're being honest Malmo have even less chance of winning the champions league than we do. And we're not and never have been in it.
The silly sausages.
An equally fun counterpoint to the waiting for the green light on an unused side street is to wait until there are a number of people waiting with you then crossing and seeing how many automatically follow you before they realise the light is still red.
I say fun...
I swear this place has lost its collective shit the last few months. There are so many absolute bat shit mental comments concerning RDZ, the club and the whole manager situation.
