It was half-hearted becuase the ball was in play, and great chances to score were unfolding.. as soon as the ball went dead, the ref signalled that he was checking..
I wasn't there.. Family priority had me booked to the Emerald Isle. I took my "lucky" sweatshirt, but forgot the T-Shirt underneath.. I have to share the responsibility.
The thing with succession planning is that it doesn't have to mean that Billy G is not an RDZ player . Given the performances, the results and the fact that we are geunely competing for things will mean less risks being taken - opportunities for rotation are more limited in many of the squads...
The differene here is that the ticket bought in the STH name/priority has been transferred on - The "Guest" ones, lower priority are deemed different. small but important difference (to the Club anyway!)
Check your email in case you are one of the "chosen few"! - I hadn't received mine, but received an email yesterday pm to confirm that I have to pick up from Chelsea Ticket office..
Gone for narrow Chelsea win (1-0).. after the mauling they had from us at the Amex, individual players, regardless of Lampard, will be desperate not to get stuffed again.. I think they will try and stifle us. I fear that we will get too desperate for a win, especially following the Spurs...
I think it's one of life pleasures sometimes . A bit like going to the cinema on your own. Its not something I would want to do all the time, but once in a while, and for me its the odd away game, its a real treat - complete self-indulgence. My best experience doing it was the Russell Slade...
I don't think that will necessarily be the case.. depends on the misdemeanour of the individual and the due diligence of the STH in inviting them as a guest.. that for me is the important word.. guest. If a guest to a members club got hammered and threw up in an ice bucket, the member might get...
The Club will see it as an added benefit for having a ST I guess? If STH then sell those tickets onto nameless potential touts then they are abusing that benefit - that's the STH fault, not the Club's. I would expect, if caught, (that may not happen) then that benefit would be removed becuase...
I agree. The Club's opportunity is to reward those that "invest" in the Club via ST/MA+ . Any other romantic views of loyalty/longevity from fans is just another opinion, but probably doesn't help the club in all reality. I struggle to argue against it, but recognise there will be some hard-luck...
I'm seeing a lot of comments here about "training facilities" : aren't there new facilities at Palace, that are very impressive ? They might be Academy focused, but still state of the art etc? The Palace one is interesting in terms of a destination for GP. For me, its the certainty and vision...
Its a big game for both clubs.. any result wouldn't be a surprise really.. Spurs often happy to sit deep and break - we will offer them that opportunity and in Kane of course they have the man to take chances. If they don't score on the break though the atmosphere will become increasingly toxic...
There is almost too much poistivity to comment on.. we are inredibly fortunate.. I haven't read every post, so no doubt will have missed some comments, but wanted to flag Ayari.. looks incredibly accomplished so quickly.. really excited to see him get a little more game time in the run-in..
Will be an interesting run to the end of the season and then into the summer. GP will surely wait and bide his time, checking to see who stays up - not that PL is a must? Most of the teams in the relegation fight would be strong contenders in the Championship and promotion would polish any...
I tend to be pessimistic predicting results for us 'cos life is easier that way, , but have a bad feeling about this one.. has all the makings of a horribly frustrating night.. players still tired from International duty, an injury or two, see also Forest away in coming weeks.. I have gone 1-0...
