[Politics] The 2024 US Election - *MATCH DAY*

Sure, but that's not at all what I was talking about. That clip's from before the interview was aired. Straight after the interview they had the interviewer and three other pundits discussing it and, whilst they did criticise Harris to some extent, they also praised her and said that...

[Politics] The 2024 US Election - *MATCH DAY*

I caught the end of the Harris interview on Fox. I thought she did pretty well, although it did seem to be as much about Trump as her. The post-interview discussion seems to be quite balanced too, given it's Fox.

[Technology] If you could afford it would your next car be an EV?

It's worth noting that BMW's prototype Hydrogen iX5 can only produce about 160bhp from the fuel cell, so still has a battery and electric motor to boost that to 300+bhp for acceleration. That will presumably carry over to production vehicles?

[Albion] Yet another Amex food complaint

Food served to eat in is subject to standard rate VAT (20%). It'd be hard to argue that this doesn't apply to the kiosk food. Incidentally, food served to eat out or delivered is subject to standard rate VAT if it is prepared hot, or warmed, for purchase, otherwise most foods are zero rated*...

    [TV] Disney+

Does anyone know of a current deal on full-fat Disney+? For my last renewal I tried the cheaper ad-supported tier and it's RUBBICH. Particularly annoying that they don't allow downloads so I can't use it on my commute. I'd probably bin it off but my children variously have MCU and Bluey habits...

[Albion] Yet another Amex food complaint

Do you have a link to the footyscran post? From what I can see, Chicken George Jnr is a couple of restaurants in Bedfordshire (nowhere near Stoke) and that burger to takeaway would be £10. Edit: found it: It's an external food van at St Alban's City (average attendance 1,400), not Stoke...

    [Help] Ear wax removal

Me too, but I have dry ear wax, and very little of it. This thread promoted me to have a go, for the first time in a few weeks. Virtually nothing there.
