I have no idea which one but I imagine it will be something by Keith Moon

From a personal point of view, it would be In A Gadda Da Vida, about 6 mins in. Purely because I used to like to try and copy it

You weren't by any chance one of those who used to sing this out every time we got a corner at the Goldstone? Top of the chicken run.

I wasn't but I would probably have joined in if I heard it!

The Winston's amen, brother. Little drum solo that spawned a whole genre of music - I doubt you can beat that for importance!

On Moonflower live album.
Was also performed at Woodstock when the drummer was a teenager. There's video of it on YouTube.

Just realised it was a different drummer at Woodstock. Both brilliant though.

I'm going for the live ending to The Voice on Ultravoxs Tour 'Moument the Soundtrack' or the live version of Phil Collins' In the Air Tonight off his Serious Hits Live album...

Phil Collins used to get loads of stick for whatever reasons, but fack me that bloke knows how to hit a drum.
