I am reading "Damned United" which has been recommended on this site several times. Basically a fictionalised account of Brian Cloughs short stay as manager of Leeds United with extensive "flashbacks" to the incidents that shaped his extraordinary career.
About halfway - still to get to the bits covering his spell as Albion boss. A great read so far.
Norman Hunter's autobiography 'Biting Talk'. No wonder it was reduced from the publisher's price of 18.99 to three quid in The Works. Insanely f***ing DULL.
Just finished reading 'Until I Find You', John Irving's latest, and have made a start on 'Cannery Row', by John Steinbeck. Perhaps I'm subconsciously going through an 'American authors named John' phase...
Not really reading anything at the moment, but keep dipping into a couple of gardening books and the Rough Guide to India....so bollocks to tickets for the third round of the cup, you can haggle over tickets to watch the Albion play Darlington, I am off to Darjeeling!
