[Football] Second half alarm clock

Question for anyone who watched the Fulham game on TV, other than in person.

Just because I want to be sure I'm not going crazy.

On the channel I had (one of the US ones, think it was Optus Sport?), it seemed the entire second half there was a phone/clock alarm beeping in the commentary box.

Did anyone else notice this?

Can’t say I noticed any alarm clocks in ESU …..library books…incontinence pads….blankets etc…….nope no alarm clocks

100% heard it I was watching on my phone and thought I don’t remember setting an alarm

Optus is Australian so quite late out there. Maybe someone was worried about nodding off.

Of course, they all use the same Premier League commentary so probably someone behind the commentary team in the WSU causing the problem

It was probably an emergency siren they forgot to turn off as the second half kicked off at least 2 minutes early, caught out a lot of drinkers as apparently it was too early for the "please return to your seats message"
