Why is the assumption the player is black? Might it be the abuse was religion or nationally based?

When racism doesn’t exist in society. All the time racism exists in society it will appear at football matches.
It’s bad that it happens but it’s good that action is taken.
If the figure is one arrest (and hopefully therefore just one incident) across 46 matches in league football this weekend, then it’s one individual out of 500,000 - 1,000,000 spectators (I’ve had a rough guess here).
Why reward him or her, in not seeing WBA games?
