Nobody's dropped. There's an interesting stat on BBC sport app about numbers of subs used this season. Guess who's top? Yep it's us. It's no good thinking what our first 11 is anymore that concept is gone. Apparently we have used all five subs in 80% of our games. So it's about using 16 players over 95 mins

Welbeck has worked well as a super sub of late. Keep it up.

If JP was suffering nothing more than cramp at Newcastle then I would start him, with DW on the bench.

As has already been pointed out, we usually use all our subs and being part of the starting 11 isn't the "prize" it once was! We really do play as a 16 and the subs, when used, rarely weaken the team...

At 34, we can expect many of Welbeck's minutes to be from the bench. Joao Pedro having a beastly end to the season could mean a huge summer bid and we don't need that either

Once you hit a paying rhythm, especially one that wins you five games, probably best to stick with it. DW on bench, Mitoma starts for me, but maybe plays 60/70 mins. Hinsh at RB.
Leaves an Ayari/Gomez question. I would start Ayari.

I went with Pedro because he looked dead on his feet v Newcastle, so possible might not be 100%. Welbeck in up top works for me

Can see an argument for Mitoma, so that’s who I went with. He often struggles against 11 men behind the ball low blocks so maybe best to bring him on around 60 mins when the game hopefully starts to open up with the tired legs
