Just my old school cap, anyone else go to this one?

There can't be many of us left!

A painting I did in year 3 at Goldstone juniors. My late mum had it on a wall all her life and I just can’t chuck it away now. Kept HGS reports which confirm what a prat and waster I was, and my prefects badge and tie, which I subsequently realised had a nazi emblem on it - little did I, or the school, know.

Have school reports and official school photos. Also a project I produced for Duke Of Edinburgh bronze badge (never did silver and gold) plus all my 45s, which I still occasionally play.

The most significant thing to me is the teddy given to me by my parents on the day I was born.

Purchased from Jersey Zoo I believe, and has been with me ever since that day.

Many a night spent with this tranny under the covers. Radio Luxembourg and European football nights. Incredibly, it still works. The stand out memory, aged 9, was listening to the commentary from the four replays of the Arsenal v Sheffield Wednesday cup match in January 1979. It is in my will that it should buried with me upon my demise. Although I suspect that the reception will not be great.

All my old school reports from Carden & Varndean, as well as some scouts stuff from the 44th, espcially my Tarzan certificate.

1967 Corgi Batmobile. Brings back happy memories of playing with it. The little wheel that fires missiles still feels the same and makes the same clicking noise (EDIT and feel) that it did 57 years ago.

Also reminds me of the excitement I felt watching the TV series every week, wondering if Batman would manage to escape the villain's lair and bring him to justice in next week's episode.

I’ve got a few books and my Star Wars figures. I think in my mum’s loft there might still be a handful of other toys.
