I’ve a family event at Ferring tomorrow morning and then need to drive east for the game. For those that usually do that route how long is it likely to take me on a matchday please?

Up to 30 mins to get out of Worthing to Lyons Farm from Ferring and then maybe another 30 to the Amex. Really does depend on traffic though. Getting through Worthing is generally a ball ache on a Saturday morning around midday

Don’t take the obvious route along Littlehampton Road. Go along Goring Road, cut up Elm Grove and then go past the stations, over Broadwater Bridge and the past the old Elms to join the A27 at Lyon’s Farm. Sounds slower but usually faster as you avoid the worst queues.

Brighton. NOT KEMPTOWN!
I thought the title of the thread was a mantra regarding people's rights to a stretch of land.

Having seen that there was an accident that closed the road at Broadwater at lunchtime, hopefully you managed to get around this today.

Yes, all good thanks. Google maps plus my sense of direction (for once!) got me through the side roads and popped out the right side of Lyons Farm without any fuss. One hour from Ferring Country Centre to the Bridge exactly as forecast.
