What thing have kept hold off from your childhood?

This is my six million dollar man, I had to beg my mum for it because being a girl, she said it was a boys toy and I should have a Cindy doll instead.

But to me Cindy was dull. She didn’t have a TV show or a bionic arm and eye and and engine that could be lifted.

Eventually I won the argument. I have never been a conformist.

Withdean area
Scrap books about special family and school holidays, school books/portfolia from age 11 onwards and reports all the way back (including annoyed comments from senior school teachers :lolol: ), diaries, every vinyl and cassette tape ever owned by me, a few random items, maps, football programmes.

”Ted” was owned until my 30’s, then went in a stolen tea-chest from a Brighton storage place, along with gig tickets :(.

I still have some of my sport trophies and certificates, some ace photos, my Cub Scout jumper, a hard back knitting book where I modelled some dungarees aged 2 which was the start and end of my modelling career, my cricket jumper, a few other odds and sods.

I used to have one of those, sadly I didn’t keep it - probably sold it at a car boot sale when I reached my teenage years!

I recall that you could look through the back of his head to see out of one of his eyes.

My school reports (my parents gave them to me a few years ago).

Which, you'd think would be a nice way of reminiscing, but it turns out, actually make you realise what an annoying smart arse you must have been at 14.

My happy disposition and heartfelt belief that everyday I stay alive I am pretty much the only thing that is stopping the universe from doing everyone a favour and collapsing.on itself.

Oddly the bionic eye makes things look further away 🤷‍♀️
