Oh this is sad, RIP Brian.
He lived in Saltdean and i worked at his home several times, really nice man and was always happy to talk about music.

A great band, especially live, if rather chaotic! RIP also, Stiv Bators who died in 1990 at just 40, in a motorbike accident.

Very sad news, I was just a little bit too young to remember New Rose when it was released, but I loved the Damned from a year or so later, and have seen them a fair few times since then. When Lords of the New Church released that album I was smitten by Jame’s guitar, the music, the vocals and the attitude.
