Anyone watching the PSV v Arsenal game? Boscagli playing at the back and they've conceded 5 goals in 48 mins
I took it upon myself to watch the game tonight for that very reason. He has… not been good…

PSV have been absolutely megashit. We would’ve battered them by 4-5 minimum too. 1-7 now. Boscogli unbelievably bad for four of the goals by my reckoning. Terrible night all round for them and brilliant for Arsenal, but PSV have been miles off it.

That is a dream for Arsenal to be able to rest so many players for replay. Assume there are rules to stop you sending out a youth team

In theory there is nothing stopping them adding a load of youngsters to their B list squad and playing them. They can make changes to that squad up to 24 hours before the next leg.

Well, the French are happy that Arsenal's result moves France above Netherlands in the UEFA rankings

France were already ahead of the Netherlands. The table before last nights games is near the bottom of this article.

Ah, I guess they are happy that they are further ahead then (reading the match comments on lEquipe.fr)

It's immaterial really as neither France or Netherlands are going to be challenging for one of the extra CL places. Actually I see now that France staying ahead of Netherlands is vital for 4 CLs spots in the 26-27 season as 5th in the co-efficients get 4 spots and 6th only get 3.

Last nights results would have made very little difference on the co-efficients. PSV losing hasn't cost Netherlands anything, Lille drawing got France 1 extra point for the season, but that would have only added about 0.15 onto their co-efficient score.

Point of order commentators. Actually, Joe Fagan won the European Cup in his first season at Liverpool.
