We've got you used to seeing Albion in the Premier League, and others will have done too.
But I wonder how outside supporters of other clubs, of many years standing, see Albion's name in the context of their history of the following the game.
A team who played in front of relatively small crowds, moving to a new a new stadium, climbing upstairs and then reaching Europe.
Who, if it hadn't been Albion, would have been regarded in a similar way as Albion are ?
I thought about it a while and came up with: Plymouth Argyle
I think other fans probably see us in the same way as we would have seen Plymouth. Many very pleased to see how it has happened, perhaps a few even resentful, although I suspect not many.
Is this a good comparison, or would it be another club ? Some may say Brentford are already it.
