0.30 on hereAnyone know where there's a full clip of Rutter's hilarious celebration of Welbz goal? First part he reminded me of one of those inflatable advertising tube men with his arms going loopy everywhere!![]()
I was born in Boscombe hospital in 61 and moved to Sussex in 91. Spoke to an old school friend today who lives Bournemouth town centre - close to BH1. He mentioned plans to build a 19 storey block on the old Winter Gardens site (venue of my first gig in 77). I visit him 2/3 times a year and it’s noticeable how things have changed with the likes of Debenhams etc closing down.Cheers, yeah there's always been a bit of banter between us, but had a great chat with some Brighton fans on train the first match of the season and we generally get on alright - stories from mates on England away matches too. Although there's been a few moments
Regarding the town - same as a lot of places where the department stores have closed down, some with plans to turn into flats etc. It's a transition period isn't it. It will get better in a decade I think.
Their fan who posted here kept banging on about allegedly taking the North Stand 55 years ago and making the Albion run away.
From my memory of the muff game in 1971 they turned up in the NS virtually as the gates opened at 1.00-1.30pm. There was a big police presence in the NS separating us from them but still fighting going on. After the game there was fighting all the way to the Greyhound stadium as muff came mostly by coach. Nearly every coach had its windows broken I was told. That muff fan must of been thinking of their home game later that season as they wanted revenge and had BHA fans on their toes after the game. We came 2nd this season and got promoted. villa top and muff 3rd and they stayed in Div 3.Three possibilities, all before my Albion time. All I know is that the Plucky nsc’er said that we ran away from him and his mates as they took the Goldstone NS with ease. Apparently.

and 'we pay your benefits' often sung by youths who look to young to work or who have high paying paper roundsMust say I didn't hear that much of 'Reddddd Army' as they couldn't stop singing 'Is this a library?'
Gawd, I hate that song, only eclipsed by the 'You've seen the XXXX, now XXXX off home'.
Sing songs to get behind your team. Sing original songs. Sing songs about our players.
Yeah. That might be even worse.and 'we pay your benefits' often sung by youths who look to young to work or who have high paying paper rounds

Yeah - Went away to Reading and they were all singing about how much of a shithole it is - until we mentioned how much nicer their town centre theirs is than ours.Yeah. That might be even worse.
I think it's being reworded as we speak. I think Moldova is in there somewhereThis.
Personally i do not like all those "negative" songs which seek to deride opposing fans particularly as they seem all to often to come back and bite you on the arse.
I was very disappointed to hear some of ours singing your second pet hate to the Saints fans especially as so many on here were upset by the utd fans singing it to us, i hoped we were better than that.
While we are on the subject of songs i trust you realise that the main reason that Bournemouth lost was because their fans angered the footballing gods by singing that ludicrous champions league song. Something that, as we learned to our cost at Leicester, should only be uttered when it is mathematically safe to do so!![]()
Yep there was an arts installation in Debenhams, I think Beales up Old Christchurch rd past McDonalds has the plans for flats. House of Fraser is closing too I think. It's all our faults for the way we shop really.I was born in Boscombe hospital in 61 and moved to Sussex in 91. Spoke to an old school friend today who lives Bournemouth town centre - close to BH1. Ah … good old Beales. I’ve just had coffee with another old school pal - who now lives in Sussex. His first job at 16 on leaving school (The Grange - Somerford in Christchurch) was the carpet department in Beales Bournemouth. This would have been in 1978.Yep there was an arts installation in Debenhams, I think Beales up Old Christchurch rd past McDonalds has the plans for flats. House of Fraser is closing too I think. Like we said, town centres will just have a smattering of indy shops, plus bars, restaurants & bars eventually. Obviously the Lanes in Brighton is a brilliant area to keep those indy shops going - dependent on rents.
Ooh Somerford - the only slightly 'rough' bit of ChristchurchAh … good old Beales. I’ve just had coffee with another old school pal - who now lives in Sussex. My Saturday job was C&A on Poole Hill. That went years ago!
Always good for Ski wearIt definitely was … certainly in some partsI was brought up in a council house - but it was in a nice close of just 10 properties.
And I remember C&A well. I bought my first ski jacket there ... apparently it was very fashionable in 1990

Based on his performance against Liverpool, Newcastle, Man United and other teams in the PL, that is just not a correct observation, he should of course be the midfield player to start together with Baleba. He has proven himself, he should have the status above Hinsh, Gomez.Key players don’t get benched, we are stronger in midfield Baleba/Hinsh /Baleba/Gomez
Sorry Yasin keep working hard in training.
You have posted twice, both times about how incredible Ayari is.Based on his performance against Liverpool, Newcastle, Man United and other teams in the PL, that is just not a correct observation, he should of course be the midfield player to start together with Baleba. He has proven himself, he should have the status above Hinsh, Gomez.
Ayari has been the player that has stand out most of the games you watch Brighton. His technical ability in small tight spaces to control that game has been outstanding. It requires a trained football eye to see these details, his game has been on very high level, I am surprised he does not get the recognition he should have from some of the Brighton fans. I hope he leaves Brighton as a club and get the recognition he deservers as a phenomenal midfield player.
Great assessment Mrs Ayari. Your lad is doing great, and his chances will come.Based on his performance against Liverpool, Newcastle, Man United and other teams in the PL, that is just not a correct observation, he should of course be the midfield player to start together with Baleba. He has proven himself, he should have the status above Hinsh, Gomez.
