Best Film of the week (The Death of Stalin) which is both a tremendous comedy but also tells you everything you need to know about the Soviet Union and a fair bit of how Putin's Russia works.

When is it on? 9 PM / 10 PM?

No, it is on at 11.55 - a good job I am retired but wouldn't bother if I had a 6.30 or 7.00 alarm.

Still there is plenty of gameshow shite to swim through before then no doubt...

If only someone could invent some form of catch-up TV...

Great film, one of the few that I saw on the big screen in the last few years.

It has been on the telly before so I suppose it is now on as a filler.

Well my comment was really to reflect that evening TV is rubbish - well aware of catch up TV thank you, that's when I saw my Dad's name on the Oliver's Mount Lap Record Board on Repair Shop.

Propping eyelids time. Alan Yentob and Armando Iannucci go head to head any minute now then the Film itself...
Don’t leave us hanging like this….did you watch the film?

Sadly I didn't make the Film as I was knackered, the documentary was excellent, Iannucci is a very clever man - The Day Today is probably my favourite Comedy programme..

Does anyone who isn't retired watch films on linear TV any more?
I was trying to explain to my dad the other day that outside of live sport (mostly watched via streaming services) there isn't really anyone who isn't retired watching any type of linear TV any more. When I told him I don't own an aerial he almost combusted.

After last night’s poor display by @jakarta , I’m now hoping for an Albion-esque bounce back watching 5 midnight films back to back!
