We've navigated the first two out of that terrifically.

But they have been two very physically demanding games and the concern has to be, that we will run out of legs, or run out of players, especially in the full back positions.

The players should be doing nothing other than getting massages and watching Fulham videos for a few days. And yes, I reckon they will realise that Fulham aren't all that. They are well managed and compact, with a decent, but not amazing spine of the team.

City. If we get anything there I'll be amazed.

Then it's international break. I hope Pervis and Kaoru get phantom knocks which prevent them from going. As we need everyone raring to go for the final assault on a European spot and the FA Cup.

What an end to the season this promises to be

Starting a revolution from my bed
I wouldn’t be surprised if the Fulham game is where our purple patch comes to a halt.

I can’t recall consecutive matches where our players have left as much on the pitch as they have for the last two games. I’d love to see the data for individual’s distances covered, sprints and duels. We have played with such intensity against two very physical teams, ridden our luck a bit at times but also played some brilliant football. To have the mindset, physical skillset and tactical discipline to go and do it again feels like a big ask. Particularly with the knocks sustained during the Newcastle match. I think it’s one of the trade-offs with this type of direct, pressing, ‘chaos’ style. Unless we go two or three goals ahead, we’re not looking to play the game in a controlled style at a slower tempo for sustained periods.

At least Fulham played 120 minutes yesterday too!

Agree it's a big help Fulham played 120mins. Noticed a few of their players getting their calves stretched for cramp, but none looked quite as exhausted as Pedro did at the end of our game.

But, they didn't look anything special either tbh. I'd fancy us against them personally.
